Set Up Auto-payment for a Peace of Mind
To make it more convenient for you to settle your
premium, we offer you two ways to make subsequent
payments:
1. You may send us a completed
Direct Debit Authorization form to make regular
transfers from your designated bank account.
or
2.
You may apply for a CTF Life Credit Card and
complete a Credit Card Direct Deb Authorization
form.

All premium should be paid by policy’s policyowner or insured. The following measures will be implemented on 1 April 2021
1. If payment
amount over HK$200,000, policyowner is required to
complete and submit Large Amount/Third Party Payment
Declaration Form or submit payment proof with payor
name.
2. “Cash” includes cash paid at our
Cashier Office or at convenience store, cash deposit
to our bank account at bank counter or through
bank’s deposit machine.
3. Effective 1 July
2021, we only accept cash up to the due premium or
HK$200,000 whichever is lower.
4. We reserve
the right to request for further documentation
proof.

Can I place a remittance in renminbi (RMB)?
Telegraphic Transfer can be deposited to the following Renminbi Account (Not applicable to the policy in HKD/USD currency):

The policy number, client name & the premium
amount should be stated on the Bank Telegraphic Transfer
Form for all the telegraphic payments and the Telegraphic
Transfer receipts should be submitted to the Cashier.
Acting
in our customers' best interests, we ONLY accept payments
made by the policyholder's or insured's account. Unless
under some specific conditions, payments made by a third
party or any other accounts are NOT accepted. Please contact
your consultant or call ur Customer Service Hotline for more
information.
Can I pay the premium through Convenience Stores?
You may bring your Premium Notice (with a barcode) to any of the 7-Eleven, Circle K convenience stores or CRVanguard Superstores/ CRVanguard Shops in Hong Kong and pay at the cashier counters by cash.
How many working days does processing electronic payment take?
3 working days for all electronic payments. You may check the payment confirmation after the mentioned period.
Will I receive an official receipt for each premium payment?
We will issue an official receipt to the policyowner upon receipt of the premium, except premium payment paid via electronic payments or autopay.
What should I write in the payee name if I want to settle my premium by cheque?
A crossed cheque should be made payable to “Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance Company Limited”. Please also state your policy number and Policyowner's name on the back of the cheque.
Can I use Internet Banking for premium payments?
Yes, you can. For more details, you may contact your bank for details or go to our website, and select Services & Support on the menu > Premium Payment > click on the Bank Bill Payment – Internet on the page.
Can I use my UnionPay Card to settle renewal premium?
No, it's only applicable to initial premium.
What is the Merchant code of Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance Company Limited?
The merchant code is 9128.
How to set up an autopay bank account?
To set up an autopay bank account for regular premium payments, you will need to submit a completed Direct Debit Authorisation form to us. The set-up process may take around 2 months. Please make sure your bank account has sufficient funds to pay up to 2 months' worth of premiums.
Can a family member of a policyowner use their bank account to set up auto-payment to pay subsequent payments for the policyowner?
Yes, we accept auto-payment via the bank account/ CTF Life Credit Card of a family member of the policyholder. Such a family member includes the spouse, parents, offspring, siblings, grandparents of the policyowner. But to do so, you must provide us with documentary evidence of the relationship.
Any grace period for premium settlement?
The grace period for premium settlement is 31 days from the premium due date. Policy renewal premiums should be settled within the grace period.

CTF Life would like to remind our clients that we have not authorized anyone (including insurance intermediaries and CTF Life staff) to collect premiums on our behalf. No receipt for any premium is valid unless signed by our authorized cashier.
In order to safeguard your interests and facilitate intermediaries in providing proper services, please take note of the following:
You should:
- Pay premiums via electronic payment, autopay, or crossed cheques payable to “Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance Company Limited” and write down your name and policy number clearly on the back of the cheque.
- Call our Customer Service Hotline at 2866 8898 if policy anniversary statement or premium payment notice is not received when overdue for 2 weeks.
- CTF Life would only use (852) 2866 8898/ (852) 2436 7400 to contact customer. If verifying the identities of the caller or message senders or authenticity of the messages is required, please contact our Customer Service Hotline 2866 8898.
- Do not pay cash to intermediaries or issue cheques with intermediaries as the payee or issue cash cheques to intermediaries.
- Do not deposit or transfer money directly to intermediaries’ bank accounts.
- Do not disclose your Login ID and password to any third party (including insurance intermediaries and CTF Life staff) to protect your personal data privacy.
